I’m the owner of the Róisín Dubh in Galway, where Joe was a resident for more years than I care to count now.
I couldn’t even come close to telling you how many great nights we had with Joe behind the decks - as a DJ, he is as versatile and adroit as he is charming, able to appeal to both the majority and the minority - a rare talent indeed. He played at his own Friday night residency in the club, as well as part of the rotating hip hop club and was also a regular at our ever popular Silent Disco (I’m sure you’ve heard of it). Most importantly, he worked for me for years and I never had to fire him, which made my life a bit easier. I would strongly recommend him as a DJ for a wedding - just be sure to remind him when to stop playing.

Joe was the DJ for our wedding reception and he was amazing! We knew him from the Roisin Dubh and booked him for that reason. The dance floor was full the whole night and everyone (from young to old) had the best time.

My name is Eoin Reilly, or I'm probably better known around the music world as Fuz. I currently play in the Irish punk indie band Slyrydes.
I spent the guts of 10 years being a DJ. I was based in Galway and I was honoured with residence spots in The Roisin Dubh, The Blue Note, Kellys/ Seven and The Cellar bar. I also enjoyed many guest spots in various venues and clubs around Ireland. Joe Romance and I shared the decks on many occasions. He has always been one of the most exciting DJs on the scene. Joe can curveball any audience with a song they had no idea they had loved all their lives in a flash. There is no crowd that Joe cannot feel out and adapt to. His range is as cutting as his style. I honestly couldn't recommend him enough. If you want something a bit different but totally familiar in every way Joe is your man. The music is one of thee most vital components in any good night, and I firmly believe you're in amazing hands with Joe Romance. Wedding DJs don't have to be some person with a mic and a laptop going through the motions. Go with Joe.

I cannot recommend Joe enough! We booked him for a private party and he did not dissapoint. Professional, kind and responsive throughout the entire booking process, Joe made things very easy from start to finish. If you are looking for a full dance floor all night Joe is your guy! 10/10 would hire again.
